Pastor Brandon Sereg

Brandon Sereg is the founding and lead pastor of Vibrant Church in Davie, Florida, which he and his wife Johna planted in 2019. He teaches most Sundays at 10:00 and 11:30 AM at Indian Ridge Middle School.

Before the church, a contractor’s kid with a habit of starting things

Brandon grew up in a family of contractors, and he has always had a streak of adventure in him — playing quarterback, starting his own business, flipping houses. He is not a pastor who arrived by the quiet route, and it shows in how he teaches: practical, direct, aimed at people who have to go back to work on Monday.

None of it settled the thing underneath. However well the businesses went, God’s call on Brandon and Johna to plant a church was more than they could ignore.

Fourteen years, then Broward County

They spent fourteen years following that call to reach people for Jesus before God led them to Broward County and gave them the vision that became Vibrant. It launched in 2019 with a simple aim: help as many people as possible live a better story than the one they are living now.

That phrase is not marketing. It is the actual thesis of the church, and it shapes what gets preached. Brandon and Johna believe that wherever you are in life, God has a next step for you — and that a church exists to help people take it.

What he actually teaches

Brandon and Johna lead Vibrant together — Johna is co-senior pastor and planted the church alongside him. Together they have four children — Levi, Eden, Eliana and Benaiah. Since the church launched in 2019 they have been doing the same two things: loving God, and helping people live a better story.

The easiest way to know whether a church is for you is to sit in it once. No dress code, about an hour and fifteen minutes, and nobody will ask you to stand up or give anything.
