5 Faith-Based Steps for Finding Peace

  • Name what you’re feeling. Don’t minimize it or spiritualize it away. Psalm 34 says God is near to the brokenhearted — and that starts with being honest about where you are right now.
  • Stop isolating. Anxiety tells you to pull away from people. Community is one of the most powerful antidotes. Come to church once — give yourself a chance to be seen and known.
  • Fill your mind intentionally. What you consume shapes how you feel. Scripture, worship, and honest conversation can replace the loop of anxious thoughts with something true and steady.
  • Bring it to God — and keep bringing it. Prayer isn’t a one-time fix. It’s a practice of releasing control and building trust. The more you practice it, the lighter the load feels.
  • Take one step toward light. You don’t have to fix everything today. Come to church on a Sunday. That one step matters more than you know.
